The Health Ministry reports a dog found at Kibbutz Ramat Hashofet in the Megiddo Regional Council has been diagnosed with rabies. The medium-sized brown and black dog was sent for testing after it began to behave strangely on Saturday night.
The ministry requests that anyone who may have been in contact with the infected animal or a stray in the area or has animals in that may have come into contact to urgently contact the health office closest to their place of residence, in order to consider the need for preventive treatment.
