An indictment is scheduled to be filed today against a 23-year-old Sharon-region resident arrested on suspicion of attacking a medical team and taking the weapon of a security guard at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod a week ago.
The suspect stormed the emergency room and attacked the Magen David Adom teams who had evacuated him to the hospital from a gas station at the entrance to Gan Yavneh, then snatched the guard's weapon and fled. He was caught by police after a chase on foot.
