Authorities in Indonesia on Sunday ordered residents of Bali, who are located at a distance of 10 kilometers from Mount Agung, to evacuate their homes immediately as the volcano erupted and sent volcanic ash and steam into the sky.
Indonesia's disaster mitigation agency has raised the alert to its highest level and the local airport has been shut down for 24 hours.
