Chairwoman Shuli Moalem-Refaeli of the Jewish Home Knesset faction, is taking part this evening in a rally in support of residents of the Netiv Haavot neighborhood of the Judean Jewish community of Elazar, ahead of a Supreme Court-ordered demolition of neighborhood houses over Arab property claims.
Moalem-Refaeli told the gathering, "We have to focus on three things first, to try to save as many houses as possible, there are at least six houses where a solution can be found. There is a need to regulate or authorize additional houses so that we will not find ourselves in a similar situation." She added, "We must not play down the effort to preserve Netiv Haavot. We must fight as we fought in the uprooting of Amona. We failed then, but we must win. We will work for that."
