Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has summoned Interior Minister Aryeh Deri of the haredi-religious Shas party, as well as former minister Yaakov Litzman and Knesset Finance Committee Chairman Moshe Gafni of the haredi United Torah Judaism party to discuss the crises related to the opening of markets and use of Jewish labor for work on the Israel Railways on the Sabbath.

The summons follows Litzman's resignation over the railroad issue. Also taking part are Ministers Ze'ev Elkin and Yariv Levin, as well as Coalition Chairman David Bitan who come from Netanyahu's Likud party.
