Following the murderous attack in the Sinai Peninsula, MK Oren Hazan (Likud) on Friday called for the immediate dispatch of an Israeli aid delegation to Egypt.
"If Israel was prepared to provide humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of the earthquake in Iran and Iraq - even though they are enemies and exporters of Shiite terror - then it is our moral duty to help our neighbor, with whom we have peaceful relations," Hazan said.
"I call on Prime Minister Netanyahu to offer immediate assistance to Egypt and to order the establishment of an aid delegation that will go there as soon as possible. We must assist in every way possible - whether with medications, medical forces and evacuation of casualties - which are required in order to save lives and treat victims who are far from the hospitals," he added.
