A year ago the IDF decided to establish a special division for protecting the borders which included soldiers involved in obtaining combat information, soldiers guarding the borders, trackers, watchgirls and other battalions protecting the borders.
At a special ceremony in Latrun after the final march of their basic training, the cadets of the division received their new berets, representing a new part of the IDF combining sharp intelligence with operational work on the borders.
