Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke Thursday at the state memorial for Israel's first prime minister David Ben Gurion.
Netanyahu referred to 'covert' relations with Arab countries which he hopes will develop and broaden the 'peace group'. He also issued a warning that 'those who wish to attack us- we will hit them. We have stressed many times that we will not accept nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran or Iranian forces near our borders,in Syria or elsewhere."
Netanyahu also responded to Haaretz publisher Amos Schocken, who raised the issue of dealing with illegal infiltrators and called government ministers, including Netanyahu, "murderers in suits". Netanyahu said that "I reject all of the malicious attacks against me and my government partners. We can agree or disagree but it must be done in a respectful manner."
