Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is expected to lay off about 1,700 of its employees, representing about 25% of the company's 6,680 workers in Israel, according to the Calcalist financial paper.
The employees are expected to receive letters of summons for a pre-dismissal hearing starting the next few days and over a period of several weeks. The company has not confirmed the report.
