Education Minister Naftali Bennett published a Facebook post Tuesday in which he attacked the "obsessive" media attempts to find the Arab who was allegedly hit by Breaking the Silence spokesman Dean Issacharoff.
Bennett stated that "it doesn't make a difference to them that soldier after soldier from the unit said that Dean is a liar. They would prefer to believe a Palestinian from Hevron and not an entire platoon of IDF soldiers. Unbelievable. Afterwards they are amazed that the public is fuming at the media. You've lost the people, friends."
Bennett sent a message to Issacharoff: "If you insist that you hit an Arab illegally, firstly be ashamed of yourself and next: do us a favor and instead of getting stuck with lies, put yourself under house arrest and free us from your public presence."
