The State Prosecutor referred to a Channel 2 report Tuesday which claimed to have located the Palestinian who according to Breaking the Silence spokesman Dean Issacharoff was hit by him during his army service.
"The case brought in a report this evening is not known to us and does not apparently fit the incident described by Issacharoff in his investigation.Issacharoff described a case when a detainee refused to be handcuffed and he was then asked to try and handcuff him. He claims that he then hit the detainee until he fainted and was bleeding. However the person interviewed claimed that he was hit by a group of masked soldiers. It is clear that there is not connection between the cases. As a rule, any information transferred to investigators revealing a suspicion of an alleged crime could lead to the opening of an investigation and this will be done in the present case as well," said the office of the State Prosecutor.
