France has followed the lead of the US in emphasizing the need to work together to combat the Hezbollah's terror activities.
The French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said that "France's demands from Hezbollah are clear. In accordance with the relevant security council resolutions, we are waiting for Hezbollah to put down its weapons and act like a party which respects Lebanese sovereignty."
The spokeswoman said that Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian war is "dangerous" but stressed that "security on the blue line of the Israel-Lebanon border is our primary goal."
