A minor terrorist, who performed a terror attack at a bus stop near Kiryat Arba in September, was sentenced to 58 days in jail and a four month suspended sentence, according to a Channel 2 report.
The terrorist was released after such a short time since at the time of the attack he was less than 14 years old.
A problematic directive in the military law in Judea and Samaria states that a terrorist who is less than 14 years old can only receive less than six months in jail irrespective of the crime he has committed.
Attorneys representing the victim of the attack noticed the lacuna and called for a change in the law.
