Member of Knesset Yehuda Glick (Likud) said on Monday evening, "We have a mission - that Jerusalem be the divine capital of the Jewish people and the entire world."

Speaking at an Arutz Sheva conference on strengthening Israel-United States relations regarding the US decision not to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem immediately, Glick said, "We do not need the world to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish people. Jerusalem has been our capital for three thousand years and we know it. If the world wants to remain relevant to the reality, it must recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish people."
