Attorney David Shimron, who represents Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, was questioned Monday for several hours in the police's Lahav 433 national crimes and corruption unit regarding alleged improprieties in Israel's purchase of submarines from German company ThyssenKrupp.
Shimron also represents ThyssenKrupp in Israel. Police have said that Netanyahu is not a suspect in the case.
