Minister Yisrael Katz responded to the attacks on President Rivlin following his decision not to pardon soldier Elor Azariya.
"I believe that Azariya should have been allowed to return to his home and been granted amnesty. The president of Israel thought and decided differently by virtue of his authority and discretion, but all the personal attacks and the severe incitement against the president are shameful and cross a red line," he wrote on his Twitter account.
