A 7.3 magnitude earthquake was felt in New Caledonia, east of Australia, on Monday morning (local time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
So far there have been no reports of injuries or damages. A tsunami alert has been issued for Australia's east coast, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
