A 30-year-old resident of Tira in central Israel's Arab Triangle was arrested by police on suspicion of involvement in a "hit and run" incident last week on Route 444, in which a cyclist was moderately injured.
The suspect was arrested in Tira on suspicion of trafficking in hashish, at which time his alleged involvement in the accident was discovered.
