The management of the Wingate Institute, the Histadrut Labor Federation and workers' representatives at the institute signed a new collective bargaining agreement Sunday evening against the background of Wingate's founding as the National Institute for Excellence in Sport, implementing a law to turn the institute into a statutory corporation.

The agreement includes a significant expansion of coverage to 100 additional employees who have been employed under personal contracts. It was agreed between the parties that any employee under the agreement who terminates his work at the institute for any reason will not be replaced by an outsourced worker.
