The Health Ministry announced that a rabid cow was discovered in Yokneam.
The ministry requests that all those who had contact or whose pets or animals had contact with contaminated animals or roaming animals should immediately contact the nearest health facility to determine whether they require preventative measures.
The same information should be given to travellers to the region or to nearby communities.
