In a bipartisan vote, The House Foreign Affairs Committee  adopted the Taylor Force Act (TFA), conditioning some forms of  US aid to the PA on ending the  practice of paying salaries to families of jailed and deceased terrorists.

The bill, which was named in honor of Taylor Force, a U.S. Army veteran  stabbed to death by a terrorist in Jaffa in March 2016, would block economic aid that “directly benefits” the PA. Security cooperation with Israel would still be funded and humanitarian assistance to PA citizens as well as health programs would also continue.

The bill is now slated to be brought before Congress next month and is expected to pass without any problems.
