The Bank of Israel has announced that as of next Thursday, the new NIS 20 and NIS 100 bills will be distributed to the public through commercial bank tellers, ATMs and post office branches.
The new notes show advanced standards of security, innovation and accessibility, and incorporate a variety of security signs against counterfeiting. There are also specific identifying signs for the benefit of the blind and visually impaired population.
