A source close to Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri told Reuters on Thursday that Al-Hariri is expected to leave Saudi Arabia for France within 48 hours, before flying home to Beirut to officially submit his resignation.
Hariri announced his resignation in a televised broadcast from Saudi Arabia on November 4th and has not yet returned to Lebanon although he has said a number of times in the past week that he would do so soon.
