PM: False reports indicate someone is under pressure

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has rejected reports that businessman Arnon Milchan's personal assistant said in her testimony that the acquisition of the champagne for Netanyahu and his wife was not initiated by Milchan or businessman James Packer, but rather at the initiative of the Netanyahu couple.

A statement was issued on behalf of Netanyahu which stated,  "The prime minister is very confident and apparently someone is under pressure, because the plague of false reports continues with another false report tonight." The statement continued, "What is attributed to the prime minister and his wife is not true. The prime minister and his wife acted legally, so there will be nothing. Furthermore, we do not intend at this stage to relate to the details of the investigation that refute the false item."
