At least 13 people were killed in the strong earthquake on Sunday evening that shook the Iran-Iraq border region and was felt across the region, including in Israel, AFP reports.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 7.3 earthquake was centered 30 kilometers (19 miles) southwest of Halabja, near the northeastern border with Iran.
