MK Yoel Hasson(Zionist Union) fumed over the decision by Prime Minister Netanyahu to speak at the torchlight ceremony on Independence Day.
"The prime minister is sitting already a number of hours under interrogation after he threatened law authorities over the past few weeks. He is using the 70th anniversary of Israel's establishment to harm the status of the Knesset even at the expense of erasing a time-honored tradition at an event which is one of the last symbols of unity in the state of Israel," Hasson said.
