A Muslim city councilman in The Hague called a visiting delegation of Israeli high school students “future Zionist terrorists, occupiers and those who murder children.” Yet despite this he will not be charged according to Hague prosecutors.
Abdoe Khoulani, a member of the Islamist Party of Unity, made the comments on Facebook about a 30-member delegation of 16-year-olds from the Hen School for Young Ambassadors, who had come to the Netherlands on an Israeli Center for Young Leaders (ICYL)-organized mission to connect with their Dutch peers.
The Dutch newspaper "Telegraph" claimed that if Khoulani would have said such things about Jews and not Israelis, he would have been indicted. The other problem was that the students themselves had not submitted a complaint against Khoulani, and only their Dutch hosts had complained.
