Debby Gross, the director of Tahel, the center for treating attacks and harassment in the religious sector, is the first religious woman to receive a citation from Social Equality minister Gila Gamliel for her part in combating violence against women.
The citation will be given in two weeks time at a ceremony marking the international day for prevention of violence against women, with the participation of Reuven Rivlin.
The 3rd international conference of Tahel will take place this month in Jerusalem on the topic of violence and abuse in religious and haredi communities. The conference is designated for parents from these sectors.
