Lebanese media report that Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri met with the French ambassador to Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
Earlier, Lebanon claimed that Al-Hariri was being held in Saudi Arabia against his will. He announced his resignation there on Saturday in a move seen by a number of Lebanese figures as coerced.
