Man shot on Highway 1 suspected of stealing a car

The man who was shot on Tuesday evening on Highway 1 near the Shoresh interchange is suspected of stealing a vehicle and then trying to escape the police.

The officers fired at the stolen vehicle and the suspect was lightly wounded.
