The procedure for regulating the status of yeshiva students with regard to the IDF will be changed, with a form to be filled in instead of an interview at enlistment centers.
The new procedure comes in the wake of the demonstrations by the Jerusalem Faction against those who go to the enlistment centers to defer their service. The new procedure will ease the process for yeshiva students, who will not have to undergo a personal interview and instead can fill in a form in their yeshiva.
