Histadrut leader Avi Nissenkorn announced a general work dispute over the issue of infirmity insurance for the elderly. "Instead of the state being concerned about the elderly, the elderly are forced to take care of themselves. Israel is ignoring its obligation to take care of this part of the population," Nissenkorn said.
Nissenkorn also announced that he would keep negotiation channels open until the end of the month before taking further steps.
