Saudi Arabia is threatening to take revenge on Iran after Houthi rebels in Yemen fired a missile which was supposed to hit the airport in Riyadh. Saudia managed to intercept the missile after it had travelled 750 km towards its destination.

Saudi Arabia claimed that after it investigated the remains of the missile it was found to have been manufactured in Iran and smuggled to Yemen.

Saudi described the missile shooting as a "clear act of belligerent aggression by the Iranian administration which can even be viewed as an act of war."
