Authorities are investigating an apparent explosion which led to a number of vehicles catching fire near a residential building on the corner of Mount Hermon and Kineret Streets in Ashdod.
According to a preliminary report by the Magen David Adom emergency service, one person was seriously injured. Firefighting forces are operating there.
