The United Nations Security Council unanimously approved a presidential statement on Monday strongly condemning the violence in Myanmar that has caused more than 600,000 Rohingya Muslims to flee to neighboring Bangladesh.
The statement calls on Myanmar's government "to ensure no further excessive use of military force in Rakhine State" where the biggest concentration of Muslims is and to take immediate steps to insure their rights.
