Bereaved families and local government leaders from Judea and Samaria said on Monday evening that they will continue their hunger strike and vigil opposite the Prime Minister's Residence for bypass roads and other security components in the region.

While welcoming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's announcement to the Likud Knesset faction that 200 million shekels have been allocated to the demand, Chairman Yossi Dagan of the Shomron (Samaria) Regional Council said, "We expect a real decision backed by a budget clause and until it arrives, we will continue the hunger strike on the sidewalk opposite the Prime Minister's Residence."
