Chairman Yoav Ben Tzur of the Shas faction in the Knesset has sent a letter to Coalition Chairman David Bitan, demanding that the coalition agreement be quickly put in place regarding the appointment of a representative of the committee to appoint religious-court judges.
In his letter, Ben Tzur made it clear that if the agreement is not implemented, Shas will consider itself free not to respect other coalition agreements on issues it deems appropriate.
