The Israel Defense Forces report a Gaza vessel exceeded the permitted fishing area off the northern Gaza coast on Monday.
An Israeli naval force carried out an arrest procedure that included hailing the ship, firing into the air and finally shooting at the boat. Two suspects were lightly wounded. The vessel was confiscated and the suspects were transferred to security agencies for questioning.
