Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Sunday evening that the resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri was dictated by Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Nasrallah said in a speech, "The resignation surprised everyone, the president, the speaker of the parliament and also the members of his party." He added, "Saudi Arabia criticizes others who interfere in its affairs, and is itself stirring up Lebanese affairs." Al-Hariri had cited Iranian intervention in Lebanon as a reason for his quitting.
