The weapons of two Ofra residents were recently returned to them, five months after they were taken from them following an incident in which they were attacked by an Arab mob. The two, who felt their lives were threatened , stopped their vehicle and were forced to use their personal weapons to make the attackers flee. It was claimed that one of the Arabs was wounded.
Security forces who arrived at the scene after the incident praised the two men's response and a judge called the seizure disproportionate, but it took a lengthy legal battle to effect the return of the weapons.
