The Ministerial Legislative Committee has endorsed a proposal by Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to change the procedure for choosing government ministry legal advisors. A search committee numbering eight people will search for candidates rather than issuing a tender as previously. The committee's choice will then be approved by the minister and the Attorney-General.
