Saudi Minister of Gulf Affairs Thamer al-Sabhan claims that the security guards of Saad al-Hariri, the Lebanese prime minister who resigned Saturday, had information about an assassination attempt against him.
In a televised interview on al-Hariri's television station, the Saudi Minister stated that there are "security threats to the prime minister and the kingdom is keen on his safety."
