Health Minister Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism) criticized the Likud party at a conference held on Friday.

"We are in a terrible absurdity when two cabinet ministers (Litzman and Deri) need to search for Minister Haim Katz for a few days to discuss with him the Sabbath desecrations that are being carried out for the purpose of railway work, and he chooses to disappear, to evade responsibility and not to answer the phone," he said.

"There is a problem in the ruling party. In the Labor party this wouldn't have happened," Litzman told the activists, adding that "evading responsibility is a cowardly method that is neither worthy nor acceptable."
