MK Akram Hasoon (Kulanu), whose four family members were killed in the attack in Hader, Syria, related on Friday afternoon to the incidents along the border.

"The residents of the village of Hader and the Druze residents of Israel have many family ties, so the incident on the northern border is disturbing and painful. When innocent civilians are injured, this requires intervention, and even more so when it comes to our relatives. Since this morning, I have held a round of talks with sheikhs in the village of Hader, with senior IDF and defense establishment officials, and I hope that a ceasefire will soon be reached," Hasoon said.

"On behalf of the Druze community, I thank the IDF for declaring that they will help the Druze and will not lend a hand to the occupation of the village of Hader. This is a clear statement of intent that I view favorably and which testifies to a partnership between the Jewish people and the Druze community," he added.
