Prime Minister Netanyahu admitted during a briefing with journalists Thursday that there are contacts with the US over the possibility of allowing Jonathan Pollard to emigrate to Israel.
Reports in recent days stated that the US administration would be willing to discuss such a possibility if it will help jumpstart the peace process with the Palestinians. However even in Israel Pollard will be forced to keep an electronic monitor on him and maintain numerous restrictions during the five years after his release.
