Prime Minister Netanyahu revealed Thursday during discussions with journalists in London that the signing of the submarine deal two weeks ago was facilitated by a letter from the Attorney-General to the German government in which he declared that the senior echelons in the government and army were not connected to the submarine investigation.
In the wake of Mandelblit's letter the Germans agreed to close the deal.
