Ramat Gan Rabbi Yaakov Ariel eulogized Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, stating that "it is difficult to stand here and eulogize a trailblazing Torah scholar like Rabbi Rosen. There are few people like Rabbi Yisrael.to whom the people of Israel owe such a debt of gratitude.
"He had views but in implementing halakha he consulted with the great men from all denominations and therefore he gained the respect and admiration of all streams and denominations in Israel and the world. We spoke about the use of an autonomic car on Shabbat. Shabbat was very dear to him. We will continue to emulate his ways."
