The Education Ministry transferred additional budgets for Jewish studies to haredi schools from the UTJ Chinuch Azmai system and the Maayan HaChinuch Hatorani system under the aegis of Shas, as well as to other unofficial haredi schools recognized by the ministry.
The budgets were transferred in accordance with coalition agreements with haredi parties after numerous delays by the Treasury and Education Ministry.
