Gitit,  daughter of Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, eulogized him during the funeral taking place Thursday in Gush Etzion:

She said that "You weren't afraid to be both a conservative and a liberal, both a rabbi and an engineer, both incisive and also willing to change your opinions, both to shout on the radio and to speak calmly. You related to everyone equally, you loved and accepted everyone. You taught us to express an opinion on everything, to innovate and to lead."
