Former defense minister Amir Peretz and Member of Knesset Shuli Moalem-Refaeli, who head the lobby for the return of soldiers, said Thursday that Hamas should not be allowed to receive the bodies of terrorists buried under the rubble of the terrorist tunnel that was blown up this week.

The MKs said, "The humanitarian balance must be clear to Hamas and we have been waiting for more than three years for the return of our missing persons. If Hamas wants the bodies of the terrorists buried under the rubble of the tunnel, it should return the missing persons. The humanitarian balance is binding on all parties. We call on the prime minister to take every opportunity to return the Israeli citizens held by Hamas and fallen [soldiers] Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin. This is an opportunity that must not be missed."
